I would bid your job based on the time it will take you + your expenses, then estimate an hourly wage. So, the question is what does a good programmer earn where you live?
I’d do something like this– est. time to complete templates= 20 hour (or whatever) X $80.00/ hour = $1600 + training (100)= 1700 + mileage = $1850.
Then I’d discount the hourly rate for the more templates you create so you get the payment you were wanting. References :
