Why do we read of projects with supposed problems ? Are the problems a hoax ? Perhaps the person running the project has made a career out of going around telling everyone to "go **** themselves", and announcing that his own staff are no good and that his own systems don’t work.>>
There are always problems. The question really is were they addressed properly? The addressing of problems is always a serious problem in any government project for it seldom is done right. Large companies and government act via political muscle, not on the basis of effective management.
i need a company that is facing an ethical issue currently… and an issue that hasnt been resolved yet… for example toyota and their quality management
a lot of the popular ones like that have been taken by my other class mates… it needs to be a big enough problem to make a 15-20 min presentation over.
this is a 300 level ethics class… and im a senior in college, i dont keep up with the news. im stuck
Try this one on for size …
You run a computer animation company. Over time, you have gotten into the business of animated pornography. You are beginning to see people requesting animation of children doing pornographic things.
Now, the argument that the children in the film are being harmed clearly isn’t valid since there are no children … but the argument that if a particular type of pornography is available, it will encourage related behavior is, perhaps valid. That is, it will encourage pedophiles ultimately to attack children (or so the argument goes).
So, should animated pornography be out-right banned? If so, why shouldn’t violent films be banned?
Having 3+ years of experience in testing tools, i want to know is it going to be benifit for me if i do Project Management Professional( PMP) certification as i have done 6-7 projects till now.
Definitely it will help you in better understanding of complete process and project management but personally i think you should go for it after 2-3 more years.. If you want you can go for some other certifications like STQC etc
I just wrote my resume and want opinions on things I need to fix or advice on how to make it better….

QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS
What you have here are not qualifications – they are traits.
They are important but they need to go in the section that you call skills further down
SKILLS – These are the hard skills that should be listed under Qualifications at the top
DO NOT list the high school – just the college, the degree and the year of graduation
Ran the commercial window – change that to Managed the commercial window (sounds more impressive)
Your tenses are all over the place – some are present tense and others are past tense.
everything should be past tense.
Here is the first job as an example
Commercial teller
Provided high quality customer service
Handled a wide range of transactions including deposits, withdraws, and loan payments
Above average performance reviews and excellent balancing history
Heavy cash handling including bank vault transactions
Ordered cash from the Federal Reserve for four branches
Assisted Lead Teller with job duties when out of the office
Assisted in the training of new hires
Much better – more consistency
now do the others so they read the same
Hope this all helps
We have all the probes to check for water quality.
We have decided to use the probes to test for the water quality in different parts of Singapore and different levels in the HDB flats to see if there is any difference in the water quality.
This would be the idea of our project but how can we link it to benefiting the society and saving the environment?
Or is there any other ideas that we can do about water management with all the probes we have ?
Pauline, I assume that the connection to the environment and benefiting society is a funding issue without which the scheme could not progress. An argument for linking to the environment could be that if the Water was good quality, the users would be less likely to ‘run the tap’ before drawing drinking water, this would reduce waste of fresh water and reduce the need to process the waste. From the society angle, perhaps society would benefit from reduced water charges (meter charges) because they no longer ‘run the tap’ and the water saved would be available to other members of society who may be without running water at present.
Also what position should be held. I am a senior project manager now for quality.
Go to Salary.com and you can check out salaries free.
to develop the training programme for managers. wht quality should i take for devolping training programme like team building. leardership quality, etc. there should be excersises or management games in programme .
The best way is to hire a professional experiential educator. However, you can develop some elementary exercises by researching books such as Silver Bullets, The New Games Book, etc.
I did my Master in computer science and than go for JAVA certified professional certificate. but i c’not able to get job in programming or developement in java soon after it. so i joined a public sector organization as Manager. Where i think i am going too far from IT. Most of time i am busy in Customer Service, CRM and Management of 25 Data Entry Operators. No doubt my current organization is very higt tech, but i am finding myself not in the real time developement but in an end user. Now i am feeling that i am stuck in it and trying to come back in IT feild where i can enjoy my current experience as well as enhaunce my profile, skill and remuniratoin etc etc……… It heard abt SAP and some of suggest me to go for project management , quality control and so on……i need ur assistant please. ![]()
The suggestion to move into some form of project management might not be a bad one. With your newer "people skills" and your technical background, it might be a good fit.
You might want to formalize your project management skills through some training, or project management certification, and then look for assistant project manager type positions.

No not really. There are math and science specialty high schools. but to go to college in the US, they want a well rounded student who has had all core subject classes, no matter what their major is going to be in college.
