I need these 4 books in .pdf format…. I have found the other 8 I need for fall 2010.

These 4 are giving me a challenge….. Anyone may have these already in .pdf or know where and in the latest edition? I prefer not having to pay for them if I can keep from it.
The google books omits pages… that is not a good source for a 100% collection of the book. Sorry, i already looked at that source. To many pages are omitted.
The key for me to asking help on finding these books, is because I don’t have the funds to purchase them….
Most sites require you to pay.
I am needed assistance on finding the .pdf for FREE….
Please don’t just post any random good answer. I have spent days looking for these four. I need serious assistance.

I’m going to study and read the book but I’m just wondering how difficult the exam is? I went through college and got on deans list, good in math, and good in the project management field.

1. The PMP exam is very, very hard. It’s harder than any exam you’ve ever taken, but the opportunities that PMP certification opens up make it worthwhile.
a. Reading PMBOK alone won’t cut it; only contains about 65% of what’s on the exam.
b. Join a study group through your local PMI chapter, or take a good course.
c. Self-study wastes time.
d. Avoid those 4- or 5-day cram schools. They’re a ripoff.

2. CAPM exam is not as hard, but the CAPM certification has no respect in the job market. On a job candidate’s resume, I consider it the mark of a chump with a weak head for business.

The author of Google Books "Steel, Spies and Spin" believes there were integration problems.

Does "integration problems" really make sense ?

That would imply the software was fouled up beyond all recognition during the development.

Tom Gilb’s book "Software Engineering Management" was published 19th January 1988.

It’s "inconceivable" that people didn’t follow the equivalent of Gilb’s method.

What is there not to work, in the software being delivered ?

We are supposing that the original ‘program’ was not flawed so hence integration would obviously fail, and as for the what is there not not to work, pretty much most of it, maybe they needed better debugging codes back then to sort the problem out, but remember a program is only as good as its creator

okay. i ask this question because in the academic field students are bombarded with literature, on how and why one must avoid ad-hoc approaches to software development – regardless of how good a programmer(s) you are.

I wonder just how much of software development is ‘common sense’ and how much of it is based on ‘experience’. All the time I hear about ’software projects failing’ , be it an online article, a close friend in the I.T industry, a case study in a project management book or by a senior lecturer at college.

I want to hear from project managers who have in the past been successful and avoided adopting and applying the tools and techniques of the countless software development methodologies out there. Can it be done ? can you just create your own ‘generic’ methodology with a little bit of this and that from waterfall and iterative SDLC’s ?

Well all the companies use the software design models. But, selecting of the design models depends upon the company. No company doesn’t follow all these models. If they weren’t satisfied with a particular model they might approach on a different model for a different product which ultimately leads to defects in the models.
Softwares are assumed to be good if they have followed the design cycle perfectly.

When managing small projects it is very difficult to follow the normal project management ideas outlined in all the major books. What would you do to manage small project and how to shuffle between the projects and be efficient ?
By Small Projects I meant that are not part of any enterprise sw development and relatively smaller devs like shareware programs.

This project is to write a program to calculate prices and discounts for books sold. The company is currently having a big sale, offering a 15 percent discount on all books. In this program you will calculate the amount due for a quantity of books, determine the 15 percent discount, and deduct the discount, giving the new amount due the discounted amount. The program should get quantity and retail price of a book from user. In addition to calculate individual sales and discounts, management wants to know the total number of books sold, the total amount collected, and the average price per book.

There are a quite a few books available for PRINCE2, getting the right one is difficult.

If you search around the internet you might come across what you are looking for and not have to pay anything.
