What is the best university or college for an online Graduate program in Project Management and why?

I am really considering the option of studying classes online due to my tight schedules, so I would like contributors to suggest or advice on the best top 5 online schools for Graduate Program in Project Management. If there is any accredited IVY League online programs that do not require GRE/GMAT for study Masters in Project Management.

A project management Master’s may be too narrow unless you want to be a career-long Project Manager only.
A Master’s in Technology Management may have more scope for promotion and will contain one or more Project Management courses.

What’s the difference between Project Management & Program Management?

Here’s the lowdown.
A project is defines by PMI.org as a temporary undertaking with defined goals and a specific start and end time.A project can stand alone – it does not have to be part of a program

A program is the the delivery of a number of related projects with common goals. So a program consists of projects.

Here’s an example. A program may be to create a new product line for a company to improve brand image. The projects may be the individual products created within that line to meet the goal of improving the brand.

What is a good FREE project management software?

My girlfriend is starting a side business in interior design, and I am looking into what software she could use for project management and scheduling tasks. I am an engineer and use MS Project at work, but for her purposes she would not require anything that robust. Ideally I am looking for something free, or under $50.

I would prefer responses from people who have actually used free or inexpensive project management software – Im not looking for links to what you can search on the web because Ive already done that!

I use something called "Planner", which is free and open source. It’s intended to provide much / all of the functionality you are used to in MS Project. (I believe Planner was once called "Mr. Project".)

I use the Gnome / Linux version under Ubuntu. There is a Windows version available for download – which I’ve never tried and can’t comment on.
