I’m a Nepali seeking admission onto Indian university/institute/B-School for MBA or PGDM, I found about this institute in a education fair, but I can’t find any ranking and recognition over the net, about the above institute. Please help, and make suggestions too
Its not an institute to be ranked any where. There are many other good institutes which can be of any use.
As you are from Nepal then rather than coming in India why not you go for correspondence course by staying at Nepal as it will save a lot of money. Go for Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, as its a recognized institute and one of the best for distance learning.
If you are interested in only regular course then appear in CAT or MAT exam. There are many good institutes which honor score of these two entrance exam. You can search so many colleges on net.
I basically a Mechanical Engineer, having about 1.5 years of experience in Engineering Design, and Manufacturing, followed by nearly 4 years of experience in Software Testing and Development, currently working as a senior software engineer in a MNC, want to enhance my career, with a valued management program. I had a botched back surgery 12 years ago. I have been seeing a pain management specialist for 10 years and I have an implanted pump with a catheter that delivers medication directly into my spine in the area of the nerves that are damaged. I have completely lost the ability to have a life and I know that I need physical therapy and physchological counseling but in the small town I live in they are not available and I can’t drive myself back and forth from the closest city. Any one know of a place in Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Tennesee, and other states close to these? These would be closest to home but I am willing to go anywhere necesssary. I need an inpatient program because I will be there alone. None of my family can rearrange things in order to be with me, but I need help now. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

We are drowning in debt. So far we have managed to get our MINIMUM monthly payments out each month but we are getting no where. Would a debt management program be a good option for us? What exactly is it? Where do I find a reliable one to work with?
You are right paying the minimum payments will definitely not get you anywhere you’ll end up just throwing extra money away to the credit card companies. I was in the same situation with about 18K in debt about 3 yrs ago. You can call Consumer Credit Counseling they’re reputable and they’ve been around forever. They have a couple different programs to go with. I went with a consolidation plan and they lowered my interest rates and put everything into one monthly payment that i could afford, as of right now I have it all paid off and my credit is back on track. You can call them and they’ll go over some options with you. Hope this helped! 1-877-343-5830
I’m really interested in business and computers all together. I am planning on applying for a program called IT management at university next year. I just want to know some of the jobs and careers it leads to. Also it would be helpful If someone can tell me what career pathways International Economics and Finance lead to.
Thanks
Either:
Project positions and ultimately project management – such as system implementation, system re-engineering, system analysis and design
Operational management of the IT department – you dont have to be technical to manage the techies…
Strategic management – ultimately Chief Information Officer – who has all of the above reporting to him/her
All can be very rewarding in a financial or personal sense. Go for it!
I am looking for graduate schools in the US that offer degrees in financial management or financial engineering. I have found some but cannot find a list that is comprehensive or ranks them. Are there rankings for graduate financial management programs? or are some of them just known to be the best? please help me anyway you can thanks
Yes, there are few lists. The most popular is " U.S.News & World Report". You can see it online.
If you want to work in Finance for ingeneering companies, the best would be MIT following with UC Berkeley.
The best graduate programs are:
Harward, Stanford, Warton, MIT, Kellogg, Chicago, Dartmouth, Berkeley, Columbia, NYU.
Specifically for Finance: Warton, Chicago, NYU.
I am looking to go paperless, and already have an HP Officejet all in one with a scanner, and I would like to know if anyone knows of any good free document management programs for mac? Thx.
Thank you for asking your question with Yahoo! Answers, I will be glad to assist.
One of the better document management programs I can recommend that is Mac compatible is
a application called"iDocument".
iDocument from developer, IcyBlaze, is a very efficient Mac based document management application, which is easy to use and free to try.
This application is a for purchase version, however, but for what you are seeking and I understand that you are looking for a free document management application, iDocument is still a great application just for that need of managing documents in a paperless fashion.
But to go further, there are several other document management applications you can review to see which is the best fit and some of these are free.
I have provided both helpful links below.
I hope this leads you in the direction you are seeking for this type of application.

I am looking into details of the 18 colleges that offer the PGA/PGM Program. We live in MI and I know that Ferris State is supposed to be good but I am liking NCSU also. The main reason being that most of the colleges including Ferris are giving Bachelors in Business or Marketing or Finance with a concentration in PGM. North Carolina gives a Bachelor of Science in Professional Golf Management with a minor in Business Management. Since my son’s main goal is to golf for life (but has been told by us he has to get a degree as backup) I like the fact that the actual Bachelor is in Golf Management because my son IS NOT a business person. So with that said does any one have experience with the PGM at North Carolina or NCSU experience in general? Thank you in advance for any helpful advice.
one of the best in the country.
I have so many accounts and passwords that it is becoming difficult to keep track of them all. Can you recommend me some good password management programs?
P.S. Would you also recommend me to write down my passwords on paper?
I use KeePass Password Safe. Highly rated and SAFE. You can even just install it on your thumb/flash drive and NOT physically on your PC. Encrypted key to master file prevents ANYONE from getting to your userids and passwords:
