I don’t actually have a set career at this point, but is project management a good skill to have, or is it a waste of time and money for the class?
I think a college student could benefit from a project management class. I often have young college grads with one or two degrees come up and say to me they wish they had had this course in college. The one comment I say to them is that often in the academic world some of what we teach may not be as practical because everything is expected to be perfect in the academic world and in the real world, that just isn’t the case. The people skills needed for project leadership are very diverse. And the world of managing people is gray, not black and white. So it helps to have some real world experience when learning these skills. Just my thoughts and experience from conducting workshops and doing project management for many years! I’m looking for information dealing with resource loading vs. resource leveling in project management. Quick explanations, or URLs to sites that discuss the two would be appreciated. Thanks…
sorry,can’t help
I need to write a paper on the key concepts of Quality and how it impacts project management. I need to find articles on this topic but cannot find any, Can someone help me? Its due tomorrow.
Try the website asq.org. This is the American Society for Quality, which is an international organization. Also, try searching on ANSI, which is another organization related to quality. Baldrige award, ISO are possibilities, too.
when this technique would be most useful?
Hi
As per previous answer, steer clear of "management lingo". Real life experiences are priceless.
My take on this is very simple:
1. Is there a problem in the first place?
2.If so,what is it.
3.Identify the easiest way of resolving it.
4.Put procedures in place to stop it from happening again.
5.Learn from all of the above.
Hope this helps.

documentation of project in c language.
If you’re interested in how to create good documentation, use a tool like Doxygen: http://www.stack.nl/~dimitri/doxygen/
The examples should help you see how it’s done.
i want to submit the project documentation also showing the entry forms screen. how can i bring it to microsoft word.plz help
If you have vista you can use the snip tool or snap tool or whatever you call it.
What I do:
If you have xp hit the print screen button then open it up with paint.
From there you can use the select tool(square box)
Carefully highlight or select the form then ctrl-C to copy then ctrl-v to paste it into word
You get just the individual from instead of everything with alt printscreen
<<Q/Is the project manager expected to mutate the system, resulting in a well-tested product ?
The project manager gives the appearance of mucking up the system.
He introduces mutations to each subsystem, thereby making the system more robust.
A/by Wes/ The project manager is expected to do whatever it takes to make a product work (I.e. Make the company money. And if they have to bend the system to make this happen, then so be it.
A/by d_r_siva/ A project manager is a professional in the field of project management. Project managers can have the responsibility of the planning, execution, and closing of any project, typically relating to construction industry, architecture, computer networking, telecommunications or software development.
Many other fields in the production, design and service industries also have project managers.
A project manager is the person accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives. Key project management responsibilities include creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the triple constraint for projects, which are; cost, time, and quality (also known as scope).
A project manager is often a client representative and has to determine and implement the exact needs of the client, based on knowledge of the firm they are representing. The ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of the contracting party, and to form close links with the nominated representatives, is essential in ensuring that the key issues of cost, time, quality and above all, client satisfaction, can be realized.

I suppose it depends on what he actually wanted to accomplish or whether he had ulterior motives
they would have been unlikely to have been stupid enough to doctor the plans, changing "360" to "359." thereby impeding the project. So on Collins project was there the paradox of recruiting supposedly high-quality staff but the result was worse than if the project had been seeded with a small percentage of low-quality staff such as Burgess and MacLean ?

yes, sometimes it happens that way, the higher the expectations, the bigger the failure…
